Mr. Ramesh Chandra is the Executive Chairman of Unitech. A graduate in civil engineering from IIT Kharagpur, he has also obtained a masters degree in structural engineering from the University of South Hampton (UK). Associated with the company since its inception, he is the leading light of the real estate industry in India.

Ajay Chandra, son of Mr. Ramesh Chandra, is Managing Director of Unitech. He studied civil engineering from Cornell University, USA and completed his masters in business administration from University of North Carolina, USA. With the company since 2003, he oversees the real estate operations and expansion into various geographies.

Sanjay Chandra, the younger son of Mr. Ramesh Chandra, is the Managing Director of Unitech. He has a business management degree from Boston University, USA and is the man whose vision has given Unitech a pan India footprint.

Ms. Minoti Bahri, founder Chairperson of ‘Shikshantar’, a Unitech School for learning, is a dynamic, young entrepreneur who has through her vision and leadership, successfully implemented crucial reforms in the field of education in the areas of curriculum development, teacher training and school systems. Shikshantar has within a short span of 8 years established its reputation amongst the leading progressive schools of Delhi that has successfully implemented new paradigms in education.

Ms. Bahri is also the Managing Director of Unitech Country Club Limited which has under her guidance seen a growth in turnover from Rs. 2.75 Crores in 2002 to a collective turnover Rs. 17 Crores though its expansion in units over the years. Running three clubs successfully, she has also been instrumental in expansion of the Club Business of Unitech group through the establishment of ‘South Patio’ at South City-II, Gurgaon and a new Club ‘Nirvana Patio’ at Nirvana City, Gurgaon.

Mr. Ravinder Singhania, 42, is a bachelor of commerce (SRCC) and bachelor of law from the Delhi University. He is the Managing Partner of Singhania & Partners, Solicitors & Advocates. He serves on the Boards of Indian subsidiaries of several multinational companies such as America Online, BearingPoint, Capital IQ, National Instruments etc., as well as public companies such as Asset Care Enterprises, CRISIL Limited etc. He is the former governing body member of Indian Council of Arbitration and Vice Chairman of Asia Pacific Committee of American Bar Association. He is a member of Law Society of England & Wales, Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, London as well as Supreme Court Bar Association. He is a consultant to the World Bank and Organisation for Economic Co-Operation and Development (OECD).

He’s the country representative for Sweet & Maxell’s International Company & Commercial Law Review and has also authored India chapters in books titled ‘Product Liability in Asia Pacific’ and ‘Employment Laws in Asia’. He is admitted to practice law in India as an advocate and as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales.

Mr. Anil Harish, LL.B. and LL.M. (Miami, USA), has over 3 decades of experience. He is a partner at M/S. D. M. Harish & Co., a renowned firm of advocates specializing in Real Estate, International Investments, Corporate Law, Taxation matters, etc.

Mr. Harish is also a member of the Managing Committee of Indian Merchants Chamber and other organizations. Apart from that he is also on the board of several well-known companies including prominent Real Estate Companies in India and is also associated with various trade and professional bodies in various capacities. He has written several articles for various newspapers and magazines and is a distinguished speaker on matters of Real Estate, Taxation, Collaborations, etc. at domestic and international levels.

 

Mr. Sanjay Bahadur, 47, has done his B.E. (Civil) from Delhi College of Engineering. He has rich experience of 23 years in construction industry. He was with L&T-ECC Construction Group, India and Iraq for about 6 years. He is associated with Unitech Group since 1993 and has worked as Managing Director of Unitech Prefab Ltd., Mumbai heading the ‘Ready Mix Concrete’ (RMC) Concrete Blocks & Pavers Operations in India and Chief Executive Officer (Construction Chemicals/ Paints) of Pidilite Industries Ltd., Mumbai. He is presently providing consultancy in building material.

Dr. P.K.Mohanty, 74, is a brilliant entrepreneur with innovative ideas and is well known in the steel industry. He’s an engineering graduate from Patna University and a Ph.D in Civil engineering from Utah State University, U.S.A. He was instrumental in setting up Orissa Sponge Iron Ltd. (OSIL) and Iron & Steel project of Neelanchal Ispat Nigam Ltd. (NINL). He is the trustee of Torsteel Research Foundation in India and developed & introduced the technology of ‘TORSTEEL’ and ‘OSIL’ process. Dr. Mohanty is the recipient of ‘VISVESWARYA SAMMAN’ conferred by the Orissa Engineers’ Forum, Cuttack, Orissa for his eminent services as an engineer having national/international eminence.

Mr. G.R.Ambwani, 74, has done his B.Tech (Hons.) in Civil Enguineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. He has rich experience of around 35 years, having worked with Municipal Corporation of Delhi where he served as Engineer-in-Chief for about 10 years (1984-1994) till retirement in the year 1994. He was a member of Planning Board, Govt. of NCT of Delhi. He has experience in real estate and construction management.
